FAQs

How do I choose the right size greenhouse for my needs?

Start by considering your growing goals: for casual herb and vegetable growing, our 6'×8' model provides sufficient space for beginners. A family of four looking to grow 30-40% of their produce should consider at least an 8'×12' greenhouse. Serious gardeners typically need 10'×16' or larger. Allow approximately 6-8 square feet per person you're feeding, plus additional space for walkways (minimum 2' wide). Height is crucial for plant types—our standard 6.56' peak height accommodates most gardeners and plants, but consider taller models if you'll grow vining crops. Remember to factor in workspaces and storage for tools and supplies.

Which greenhouse model is best for extreme weather conditions?

For extreme weather conditions, our Premium Weather Master model offers the highest performance with its reinforced 3.07" galvanized steel frame and 6mm twin-wall polycarbonate. It's rated for winds up to 65mph and snow loads of 32 psf (approximately 3 feet of snow). The steeper pitch of its roof prevents snow accumulation, while the aerodynamic design reduces wind resistance. For hurricane-prone regions, we recommend our Hurricane Series with additional ground anchoring points and reinforced corner bracing. In extremely hot climates, our Desert Series includes automatic ventilation systems and optional shade panels. For areas with heavy snowfall, the Alpine Series features additional roof supports and a 45° roof pitch that sheds snow more effectively. All extreme weather models include our industrial-grade door hinges and window seals to prevent the leaks and drafts that typically occur in standard greenhouses during severe conditions.
