Pre-Order Terms and Conditions

By placing a pre-order with YourGreenHouses, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review this document carefully before completing your purchase.

Part 1: How Pre-Orders Work

A pre-order allows you to reserve a greenhouse before it is available for immediate shipment. This applies to models currently in production, awaiting incoming inventory, or temporarily out of stock.

Your payment is collected at the time of purchase to confirm your reservation and secure your place in the production queue. Once your order is placed, your greenhouse is added to our next bulk manufacturing run at our factory in Europe. We produce and ship greenhouses in batches to our US warehouses, which allows us to offer factory-direct pricing without middleman markups.

Manufacturing and Delivery Timelines by Product Line

Polycarbonate Greenhouses

  • Estimated delivery within 6 weeks, including manufacturing and shipping to your door.

Scandiglass Greenhouses

  • Estimated delivery within 18 weeks total.
  • 10 to 12 of these weeks are dedicated to manufacturing.

Nordwood Product Line

  • Estimated delivery within 12 weeks, including manufacturing and shipping.

Factory to Warehouse Transit

Once your greenhouse leaves our European factory, transit to our US warehouses typically takes 3 to 4 weeks. Our warehouses are located in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey.

Tracking Updates

You will receive two key shipping notifications: one when your greenhouse departs the factory, and one when it is handed over to the last-mile carrier at our US warehouse. Tracking information is provided at the point of last-mile handover.

Upgrade and Add-On Options During Manufacturing

While your greenhouse is in the manufacturing phase, you may have the option to upgrade the size or add accessories, depending on the model. Any upgrades or additions may be subject to extra costs. Contact us at hello@yourgreenhouses.com to discuss available options for your specific order.

A Note on High Demand

Due to the competitive pricing of our products, we occasionally experience periods of higher than expected order volume. In these situations, manufacturing and shipping timelines may shift slightly beyond the earliest estimated dates. When this occurs, we will notify affected customers promptly and provide an updated timeline. This is not a regular occurrence, but we want to be transparent about it as a possibility so you can plan accordingly.

International Logistics and External Factors

Our greenhouses are manufactured in Europe and shipped internationally to the United States, passing through multiple countries and ports before reaching our warehouses. This process involves ocean freight, port handling, and domestic last-mile delivery, each of which introduces variables outside of our direct control.

External factors that may occasionally affect delivery timelines include:

  • Severe weather events such as storms that may delay or reroute ocean vessels.
  • Port congestion or handling delays at transit or destination ports.
  • Customs processing times and import clearance procedures.
  • Carrier capacity limitations or scheduling changes.

These are uncommon but possible occurrences inherent to international freight. When any such event affects your order, we will communicate the impact and provide an updated estimate as soon as the information is available to us.

Part 2: Pre-Order Terms and Conditions

1. Estimated Delivery Dates

All delivery dates provided at the time of purchase are estimates only, reflecting the earliest possible delivery window based on current production and logistics schedules. These are not guaranteed delivery dates. Pre-orders are fulfilled differently from in-stock orders and are subject to manufacturing schedules, freight availability, and logistics coordination. Please take estimated delivery dates into account when planning your purchase. We always aim to communicate the most realistic estimate available at the time of your order.

2. Delay Notifications

If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, we will notify you by email with an updated timeline. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address provided at checkout is accurate and actively monitored. We are not responsible for missed communications resulting from incorrect or inactive email addresses.

3. Order Modifications

If you request changes to your pre-order after it has been placed, such as a size change, configuration update, or address change, please be aware that this may affect your estimated delivery date and could involve additional costs. Contact us at hello@yourgreenhouses.com before your order ships to request any modifications.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact details during checkout. We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect or outdated information provided at the time of purchase.

5. Unfulfillable Orders

In rare circumstances where we are unable to fulfill your pre-order, you will be notified promptly and a full refund will be issued automatically. No action is required on your part.

Part 3: Cancellation and Refund Policy

We are committed to being fair and transparent. The following outlines your options at each stage of the order process.

1. Cancellation Before Shipment

Full refund within 7 days of purchase:
You may cancel your pre-order and receive a full refund within 7 days of placing your order, provided the item has not yet shipped. To request a cancellation, contact us at hello@yourgreenhouses.com with your order number.

Full refund at any time before shipment:
You may cancel your order and request a full refund at any time before your greenhouse has shipped, regardless of how much time has passed. Simply contact us at hello@yourgreenhouses.com with your order number.

2. Partial Refund for Extended Delays

If your order has been delayed 30 days or more past the earliest estimated delivery date and you choose to keep your order active rather than cancel, you may request a partial refund as compensation for the inconvenience. The partial refund amount will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the length and circumstances of the delay.

Please note: refund requests based solely on the delivery date being later than the earliest estimate shown at checkout are not automatically eligible for a full refund under this clause. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Please refer to Section 1 of Part 2 above.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Every greenhouse is factory-inspected before shipment. If your order arrives with damaged or defective components, we will resolve it at no additional cost to you.

What to do:

  1. Inspect your delivery within 14 days of receipt.
  2. Document the damage with photos and contact us at hello@yourgreenhouses.com with your order number and images.
  3. We will offer one of the following resolutions:
    • Replacement parts shipped to you at no cost, with fast delivery.
    • A full or partial return with our assistance, depending on the extent of the damage.

Please note: damaged or defective parts that have already been assembled, painted, or otherwise modified are not eligible for replacement or return.

4. Returns for Non-Defective Items

If you wish to return your greenhouse for reasons unrelated to damage or defect, the following conditions apply:

  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
  • The item must be unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging.
  • The customer is responsible for arranging and covering all return shipping costs.
  • We will provide the return shipping address upon request.
  • Once received and inspected, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days, minus any return shipping costs incurred on our end.

Please be aware that due to the size and weight of our products, return shipping for a greenhouse is a significant undertaking. We strongly recommend contacting our support team before initiating a return, as we may be able to resolve your concern without shipping the item back.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been issued. If 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at hello@yourgreenhouses.com.

6. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

We ask that customers contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or card provider. In most cases, we can resolve the issue faster through direct communication. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and could affect your ability to place future orders.

Part 4: General Terms

Limitation of Liability

YourGreenHouses is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from shipping delays, order cancellations, or product returns. This includes but is not limited to missed planting seasons, site preparation expenses, or third-party contractor costs incurred in anticipation of delivery.

Changes to These Terms

YourGreenHouses reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be published on this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms before placing a new pre-order.
