Once I had it up (which took a weekend and a few drinks with my neighbor), I realized something: this was the first time I’d built a greenhouse I didn’t have to baby.
No rattling in the wind. No loose panels. No anxious glances every time a storm rolls in.
This thing doesn’t flinch.
The company says it’s rated for winds up to 65 mph and three feet of snow load, and after the winter we just had, I’m convinced. The frame hasn’t budged. The panels look brand new.
I used to think of greenhouses as temporary — a few years and done.
Now, I think of this one as part of the property. It’s not something I’ll ever have to replace.
