The room your yard has been missing

This isn't a plastic grow tunnel you hide behind the shed. The Nordwood is a timber-and-glass garden room you put in the best corner of your yard — warm, hand-finished wood under crystal-clear tempered glass, with walk-in height and daylight from every side.

Whether you're hosting long dinners with family and friends or tending fresh herbs and tomatoes in the wall-mounted beds, it's a place where rain will never interrupt your plans.

The pressure-treated spruce framework resists rot and insects naturally. The glass floods the space with light and never yellows or clouds the way plastic panels do. It's built to age gracefully through decades of seasons.

Four reasons owners say it's worth every penny

The Nordwood taking the best spot in a backyard, glass to the ridge
1

The look.

Most greenhouses get hidden in a back corner. This one earns the best spot in your yard: warm finished timber that looks better as it ages, glass to the ridge, about 6.5 feet of standing room at the entry rising to nearly 10 feet under the ridge.

2

The frame.

Nearly 4 x 2 inch Nordic spruce beams, pressure-treated to handle real winters for decades. The thick frame resists the flexing and twisting that cracks glass on lighter kits — rated for 115 mph winds and 3+ feet of settled snow on a pitched roof that sheds it.

The Nordwood's 4mm tempered glass holding a full winter's snow
3

The glass.

Real 4mm tempered glass that stays clear for decades and blocks 95%+ of UV radiation. If it ever breaks, it crumbles instead of shattering. We've tested it against baseball-sized hail — on camera.

Automatic roof window open for ventilation on the Nordwood
4

The ventilation.

Roof windows that open themselves when it gets warm. The automatic openers kick in around 70°F — no power, no app — so the space stays comfortable for people at one end and plants at the other.

Why we build these

"I built my first greenhouse with my dad, after two store-bought kits failed to make it through the winter. That's the whole reason this company exists."
Gustavs, founder

Since 2011 we've built with heavier frames, genuine tempered glass, and warranties we actually honor. Every Nordwood is manufactured in Europe from FSC-certified timber, and 100,000+ gardeners trust our greenhouses.

Shipping & Delivery

FREE Shipping & Delivery

Every order ships free and fully insured to your door across the continental USA. Orders take 3–5 business days to prepare before they ship. Most deliveries go straight to your door. If the truck can't safely reach your location, we'll arrange pickup at the nearest freight terminal and confirm the details with you first.

Shipping just got faster

We build and ship faster now, so every window below is shorter than last season. Same prices. For a limited time, on this production run only.

The dates shown are estimates, not guarantees. They reflect the earliest delivery window based on current production and freight schedules. Pre-orders are produced in batches and shipped from Europe, so manufacturing volume, ocean freight, port handling, and customs can affect the timeline. If an estimate changes, we email you an updated one.

How pre-orders work

  • Pre-orders are produced in batches at our factory in Europe, then shipped to our US warehouses in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey. Transit from the factory to a warehouse usually takes 3–4 weeks.
  • You receive two tracking emails: one when the order leaves the factory, and one when it is handed to the last-mile carrier.
  • Orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before they ship.

For full details on delivery, cancellation, and refunds, see the Pre-order Policy.

Questions, answered

Do I need a building permit?
Most models don't require one, but regulations vary — check with your HOA or local authority first. The footprint is 214 sq ft.
How does it arrive?
As a complete kit — glass panels, timber frame, and assembly manual — delivered free to the curb anywhere in the continental US. Standard delivery runs 16–20 weeks; faster options are available at checkout.
Can I order now and take delivery later?
Yes — that's the point of the price lock. Postpone delivery up to 10 months and we hold your greenhouse at no charge in our Florida warehouse.
What foundation does it need?
A flat, level base — concrete pad, deck, or paved surface. It fixes down with screws; no ground anchors needed.
Do you assemble it?
We don't offer installation. Most owners assemble it over a few days with a second pair of hands, or hire a local handyman. Glass panels need two people.
Will the glass survive hail? What's the warranty?
The 4mm tempered glass has been tested against baseball-sized hail on camera. The 5-year limited warranty covers frame and glass against structural defects; register within 30 days of delivery. 30-day returns.

The next batch costs $6,596 more. Yours doesn't have to.

Lock in $9,894 today, choose your finish, and decide later when to build — we'll hold it free for up to 10 months.
