How pre-orders work
- Pre-orders are produced in batches at our factory in Europe, then shipped to our US warehouses in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey. Transit from the factory to a warehouse usually takes 3–4 weeks.
- You receive two tracking emails: one when the order leaves the factory, and one when it is handed to the last-mile carrier.
- Orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before they ship.

Will the wood require high maintenance?
Very little. The Nordic spruce arrives pressure-treated, and a coat of wood oil once a year keeps it rich and protected. Solid logs do not warp or rot like thin panels, so a Garden Studio keeps its looks for a generation.
Is it difficult to assemble?
Most owners build it over a few weekends with a second pair of hands. Every component is labelled, the manual walks you through each step, and only basic tools are needed. Professional installation can also be arranged.
Is it suitable for year-round use?
Yes. The 1¾" solid log walls and double-glazed doors and windows hold heat and keep the cold out, so the studio stays comfortable through every season. Add optional heating or insulation for the coldest climates.
Do I need planning permission?
In most cases, no. The Garden Studio stands under 8'2" tall, which is designed to fall within common permitted-development rules. Always check the rules for your local area before you build.
How long does delivery take?
Each Nordwood Garden Studio is built to order. Standard delivery is 16–20 weeks and free; Priority is 12–14 weeks; and Express Secured, our fastest route, is 10–12 weeks. We confirm your window by email and ship fully insured to your door.
What does the warranty cover?
A 5-year structural warranty covering the timber structure, doors, and windows against defects under normal use. Register within 30 days of delivery to activate full cover.
Can I add accessories later?
Yes. An automatic window opener and interior fit-out for office, studio, or gym use are designed to fit the Garden Studio and can be added at checkout or any time after.
